Knox Lincoln County Beekeepers

The Knox Lincoln County Beekeepers welcomes residents from Lincoln and Knox County who are actively keeping honey bees or have interest in learning more about them. The KLCB meetings are held in both county locations throughout the year with emphasis on seasonal management by means of presentations, hive openings and opportunities for hands on learning.

Meeting locations vary between counties with the goal to meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month during the spring, summer and fall.

 

KLCB is a local chapter of the Maine State Beekeepers Association for beekeepers in Knox and Lincoln County.

The Maine State Beekeepers Association holds its annual conference in October. Prominent guest speakers are invited for presentations, along with a lunch, raffle auction, vendors, beekeeping awards and a blind honey tasting conference.
