About KLCB
KLCB is a local chapter of the Maine State Beekeepers Association for beekeepers in Knox and Lincoln County.
The Knox Lincoln County Beekeepers Club, a place for beekeepers and bee enthusiasts to come together and share their passion for honey bees. Our club welcomes residents from Lincoln and Knox County who are actively keeping honey bees or have interest in learning more about them. Meetings are held in both county locations throughout the year with emphasis on seasonal management by means of presentations, hive openings and opportunities for hands on learning. Our goal is to promote the well-being of honey bees and to support local beekeepers in their efforts to produce high-quality honey.
We believe that honey bees play a vital role in our ecosystem, and that it is our responsibility as beekeepers to protect and nurture them. By working together, we can make a difference in our communities and ensure a bright future for honey bees and the people who care for them.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the art and science of beekeeping in Knox and Lincoln County, and to provide a supportive community for beekeepers of all levels. We strive to educate our members and the public on the importance of honey bees and their role in our environment.
Our Vision
At KLCBee, we envision a world where honey bees are thriving, and beekeepers are recognized for their vital role in our ecosystem. We hope to inspire a new generation of beekeepers who are passionate about protecting and nurturing these amazing creatures.
